What's Happening?

It's already August, and I haven't been active these past few days. But before anything else, I want to thank all of you for joining my first ever giveaway

Anyway, I ended my July by borrowing the following books from my Peculiar Family (it's great that we're attending the same university!). Thanks a lot to Godwin, Apolo and Eriele for lending me your books!~

These two lovely books were from Apolo. I haven't got the chance to read it yet, but I am so excited now that I've finally got the chance to caress them!

Next is the books that I've got from Godwin. I've read Isla weeks ago (I gave the book to Apolo a few days ago), and it was so good! I will read it again on August 14 (the release date, yay!!), and will write a review for it! I am also looking forward in to reading Phoenix, which is the sequel to Black City. I want to learn more about their world, so I'm looking forward to reading it!~

This one's from Eriele. It's the arc of the third and last installment in the Burn for Burn trilogy. I haven't read yet the second book, but having this one in my possession makes me giddy! I will get on to the second book as soon as possible!!

I've been bombarded with a lot of school work, and I've already started doing my duties in our college publication. But that didn't stop me from reading books. I'm currently reading Grace and the Guiltless, and I'm editing a book review that will be posted here in just a few days. One of the most anticipating event that I've been waiting for the month of August is the presscon of the cast of Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno, which happened yesterday. And yes, I attended the event! I will tell you all the fangirling deets in another post, because it deserves a post of its own.

Another event that I will be attending is the book signing of Alex London! I already bought my own copy of Proxy, though I haven't got the chance to read it yet. I'm gonna read it right after Grace and the Guiltless! I heard that it was a really great (and heart-breaking) novel, so I should probably get on to it!

For those who'll be going in the event, I'll see you guys there!!
